My Internship

Herizon Music Foundation envisions a music industry where any woman can make a living based on merit, no matter her age, appearance, familial status, or orientation. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, its mission is to uplift the next generation of women in music through education, experience, and role-modeling programs.

Backstage Chats with Women in Music is a podcast, produced by Herizon Music Foundation, that features trailblazers and rising stars in the music industry. Representing women on the stage and behind the scenes, their stories are relatable, entertaining, educational, and inspirational.

Random Acts of Music is a program through the Herizon Music Foundation that is a virtual event booking service connecting event hosts with female musicians. Events can be virtual or on-site such as virtual meetups, webinars, birthday parties, reunions, fashion shows, conferences, destination weddings, retail seasonal sales, and more.

My duties include:

• Creating graphics for Social Media posts

• Schedule posts on Facebook and Instagram

• Researching and reaching out to new artists to feature

• Contacting publicists to request information or permission regarding copyright images

• Weekly creative meetings with the president to problem solve and discuss new concepts

• Create posts that include full-length and short audio clips from the podcast and a graphic that contains subtitles for the audio
